Chief who leads the world, Amitāyus,
DÜMIN CH’IWA MALÜ JOMPAI PEL
Glorious one who subdues all untimely death, without exception,
GÖNMEY DUKNGEL GYURPA NAM KYI KYAP
Savior of those who suffer without protector:
SANGGYAY T’SÉPAKMEY LA CH’AKTS’EL LO
To the Buddha Amitāyus, I pay homage and bow.

By the power of ethics, the Buddha, the true Noble One,
MI YI SENGGÉ TS’ULT’RIM TOP TOK TÉ
The Lion of Men realized the power of ethics;
NYINGJÉ CHEN GYI DRONGKHYER JUKPA NA
Thus when entering into the city of the compassionate,
TS’ULT’RIM TOP KYI DRA NI DRAKPAR GYUR
The roar of the power of ethics resounds.
ZÖPAI TOP KYIY SANGGYAY YANGDAK P’AK
By the power of patience, the Buddha, the true Noble One,
MI YI SENGGÉ ZÖPAI TOP TOK TÉ
The Lion of Men realized the power of patience;
NYINGJÉ CHEN GYI DRONGKHYER JUKPA NA
Thus when entering into the city of the compassionate,
ZÖPAI TOP KYI DRA NI DRAKPAR GYUR
The roar of the power of patience resounds.
TSÖNDRÜ TOP KYIY SANGGYAY YANGDAK P’AK
By the power of diligence, the Buddha, the true Noble One,
MI YI SENGGÉ TSÖNDRÜ TOP TOK TÉ
The Lion of Men realized the power of diligence;
NYINGJÉ CHEN GYI DRONGKHYER JUKPA NA
Thus when entering into the city of the compassionate,

The roar of the power of diligence resounds.
SAMTEN TOP KYIY SANGGYAY YANGDAK P’AK
By the power of concentration, the Buddha, the true Noble One,
MI YI SENGGÉ SAMTEN TOP TOK TÉ
The Lion of Men realized the power of concentration;
NYINGJÉ CHEN GYI DRONGKHYER JUKPA NA
Thus when entering into the city of the compassionate,
SAMTEN TOP KYI DRA NI DRAKPAR GYUR
The roar of the power of concentration resounds.
SHEYRAP TOP KYIY SANGGYAY YANGDAK P’AK
By the power of insight, the Buddha, the true Noble One,
MI YI SENGGÉ SHEYRAP TOP TOK TÉ
The Lion of Men realized the power of discerning insight;
NYINGJÉ CHEN GYI DRONGKHYER JUKPA NA
Thus when entering into the city of the compassionate,
SHEYRAP TOP KYI DRA NI DRAKPAR GYUR
The roar of the power of discerning insight resounds.
