The Name-Dhārani of Je Tsongkhapa
PEL-DEN TSA-WAY LA-MA RIN-PO-CHHE
Glorious root guru, precious one,
DAK GI CHI-WOR PAY-DAY TENG ZHUK LA
As you rest on a lotus and moon above the crown of my head,
KA-DRIN-CHHEN-PO’I GO NAY JEY-ZUNG TE
Look after me with your great kindness,
KU SUNG T’HUK KYII NGÖ-DRUP TSEL DU SÖL
And grant the siddhis of enlightened body, speech, and mind, I pray.
OM ĀH GURU VAJRADHĀRA SUMATI KIRTI SIDDHI HŪM HŪM
Recite this as much as possible.
PEL-DEN TSA-WAY LA-MA RIN-PO-CHHE
Glorious root guru, precious one,
DAK GI NYING-KHAR PAY-MAY TENG ZHUK LA
As you rest on a lotus in my heart-center,
KA-DRIN-CHHEN-PO’I GO NAY JEY-ZUNG TE
Look after me with your great kindness,
KU SUNG T’HUK KYII NGÖ-DRUP TSEL DU SÖL
And grant the siddhis of enlightened body, speech, and mind, I pray.
TS’HE-RAP KÜN TU GYEL-WA TSONG-KHA-PA
In all lifetimes, O Victor Tsongkhapa,
T’HEK CHHOK SHEY-NYEN NGÖ-SU DZAY-PAY T’HU
Through the power of your acting directly as the spiritual friend of the supreme vehicle,
GYEL-WAY NGAK-PAY LAM ZANG DE NYI LAY
May I never veer from the exact excellent path praised by the Conqueror
KAY CHIK TSAM YANG DOK-PAR MA-GYUR CHIK
For even a moment.
